You’ve heard what Sammy likes, and you’ve found out all of the crazy things that Chris likes. Now, here’s Jeff with his favorite Richmond things:
This is a really difficult one. Nacho Mama’s is always a great choice. Their burritos are as fat as their margaritas are tasty. Although, now that I’ve taken a quick glance at their website, I think I just lost my appetite. (Call us, Nacho Mama’s!)
This would have to be Cafe’ Ole. Are you picking up on a theme with my favorite things? Cafe Ole’ is a bit of a walk, but it is well worth it.
On the other hand, I always have a hard time turning down Jo-Jo’s Pizza. Watch out for the owner, Enrico, though.
Aww comon, don’t tell me that some of you aren’t still playing Pokemon Go. The best place to catch em’ all in this fine city is down by the floodwall and at the Capitol.
Well, unfortunately the Richmond Metro region doesn’t have too terribly many scenic roads for motorcyclists. But, if you hop on Rt. 5 and head towards Williamsburg, you’ll be treated to a nice road. And, just north-east of Richmond is Rt. 14 from Aylett to West Point, which is one of my all-time favorite motorcycle roads in the area.
I’d have to say that Hardywood is my favorite. Besides having a great selection of brews, it seems like they’re always having some kind of event
Since I named Hardywood in the previous question, I’d say that their Raspberry Stout is probably my favorite local craft beer. It is a perfect blend of raspberry and malty goodness.
Now, this is a difficult question. And one that can cause more debate than most political issues. I have to admit that I used to be squarely on team Sugar Shack. But recently, I think my tastes have changed and I’m becoming a bigger and bigger fan of Country Style. So, maybe both?
Since I’m neither a Ram nor a Spider alumni, I’d have to say that I’m pretty neutral on the VCU/UR rivalry.
Personally, I think Miller & Rhodes has a better selection of fine hats than Thalhimers does. And the customer service is top notch! Plus, Miller & Rhodes has Santa!
Besides my own Virginia Ride for Kids (plug!), I enjoy doing the Monument Avenue 10K.
You didn’t really think I was going to end this without making some mention of mexican food again, did you? Plaza Azteca consistently has the best table-side guacamole.
