Social media is important for branding, but can be very time consuming – especially if you try to keep up with each and every change that occurs. To make life a little bit easier for you, we’ve rounded up all of the social media changes that are happening this week.
1. Does your brand get a lot of Facebook messages? If so, you may benefit from the newest Facebook feature: “Saved Replies.” This feature allows for brands to write, save, and re-use messages to make it faster and easier to communicate with customers.
1. If you’ve ever scrolled through Instagram and found yourself wondering where you can buy an item, you’re in luck. Instagram is releasing a “Shop Now” button which will allow advertisers to link to their items so that users can click through to make a purchase.
1. Speaking of buy buttons, Pinterest will soon be introducing one as well. Considering the fact that Pinterest is already a great place to advertise products, this step is only natural.
Google+
1. We’ve been speculating about the death of G+ for a while now, but this most recent move really emphasizes the downfall. Google has begun removing G+ account links from Gmail accounts. Could this be the end of Google+ for good? Only time will tell.
These are all the changes we’ve rounded up for the week of June 8th. If you want to stay in the loop with what’s changing each week, check out our blog or social media pages for our weekly social media news!
